These are letters my Grandfather Arthur Kinnaird sent home to his children when he was serving in India and Burma. Each letter was photographed and the negatives sent to Britain where the negatives were printed and then sent to the recipent. You will see the addresses are to Aberlour Orphanage,and later to 6 Powis Circle in Aberdeen. As you will see, Arthur was quite the artist and decorated many of his letters with sketches depicting has service.
